Monday, August 30, 2010 OLD HOUSE, NIECES

We made a trip to Denver to a "Ham Radio Store," and did a drive-by of a couple of our old houses.  There was a young man doing yardwork in my old house and he invited me to come see the backyard and meet his mom.  He grew up in "my" old house.  His mom invited me inside to see changes she had made to the house.  I had only lived in the house for less than a year after it was built, back in 1972, but it still looked brand new.  They have taken excellent care of it (even added a pool in the lower terraced area of the backyard).

Then, we drove a few blocks and found Jim's old house.  We were practically neighbors, though we didn't know each other at the time.

Jim's neice, Angela and her daughter, Ashley came over and we drove to Blackhawk for an "All you can eat crab legs" dinner.  Ate waaaaaay too much!  We had a very enjoyble evening.
