It is definitely the rainy season here. We left in the rain, had some sunny moments, more rain, and lots of clouds. We drove west of Creede to Clear Creek Falls - allegedly the most photographed waterfall in the state. We're not sure who counts the photographers. The Forest Services describes the trail as "Difficult to More Difficult." We don't get it??? We found it to be a very gentle ride thru a spruce/fir forest and into an alpine tundra. There were some pretty steep switchbacks, but not bad. For some reason, none of my pix of the forest areas turned out okay. It was very pretty and very peaceful; no traffic.
